These works combine representational imagery with text and binary conversions of wildlife song. Each of these depictions are define the wildlife and share information about the creature although each is at a different level of abstraction. What are we unable to communicate given all existing forms of language? Can we call any form of communication, be it visual or textual, truly representative of that which we try to describe? How are sound, memory, and space related?
