I really like this new body of work! It seems to have much more depth besides the main message of tension. The top line really screams out.

whoa, just found the studio notes and must admit that it just might be my favorite part of the whole site. Love getting inside your head, inside your studio, and the palette shots... YES!!

Heather, it's incredible. I relish the opportunity to look at some your earliest work and see how you've evolved and transformed. Also, love the personal commentary for specific pieces. and perhaps most of all love the angus theme. Love it. Choice cuts, HAH!!

I love the little personal notes you've put with all the pics of your work. Sometimes very obscure, always insightful in some way. Your personality shines through these. I get a glimpse into your outlook. talk to me, baby!!

When I saw your MFA collection, I did experience the mixed emotions you described. The collection was large and uncomfortably enclosing. I saw these pieces as the culmination of a period in which you were finding beauty where we must peak through our hands. The earlier works included refinery smoke stacks in Utah, refugee camps in Afganistan, and dolphins caught in Japanese tuna fishing nets. So, this final experience was haunting and unforgettable.

The art is simply delicious and I love how easy to navigate and clean the site is. And I too am interested in the significance of the cow. Can't wait to see and hear more about your work!

I haven't seen any other art referring to Hurricane Katrina. "Red for the
Dead
" is the first I've seen. It's beautiful, terribly beautiful.

I came back to my office after dinner and there it was. Just an innocent
little link at the bottom of a humdrum e-mail. Now I've spent two hours appreciating
art when I should have been trying to support my family. I hope you're happy.
